Q:  HOW WILL YOU FILM MY CHILDBIRTH SO I CAN SHARE WITH FAMILY AND THEY       WON'T CRINGE?

A:  It is completely possible to artfully record this part of your birthography® using angles that are creative, tasteful, and non-cringeworthy. 

Q:  WHAT IF I HAVE A C-SECTION -- EVEN IF IT'S NOT PLANNED?

A:  Only one guest is allowed in the OR, so typically that guest is a spouse or family member -- who will take photos & video with their own recording device that will be edited into your family time capsule.

I've done birthographies® without actual birth footage -- filming the baby wheeled into the hospital room for the first time after birth -- and there are still plenty of extraordinary moments that make your amazing, once-in-a-lifetime event feel complete.

Q:  WHAT IF I DON'T LIVE IN LOS ANGELES?

A:  Additional travel costs apply to documenting families in homes & hospitals in areas beyond 50 miles of Los Angeles County.

 

The RETRO . ACTIVE package allows clients to upload all their own video & photo for Delivery Day Films to edit into a birthography®. Includes video interviews (via Zoom or FaceTime or Skype) with expecting parents & family.

Q:  HOW ARE THE INTERVIEWS USED IN THE FAMILY TIME CAPSULE?

A:  The pre-birth interviews are used to narrate your birthography. In addition, the stories told in the delivery room recounting the birth experience to visiting family & friends are also used to narrate the documentary. From start to finish, it's your story in your own words.

Q:  HOW DO PRICING & PAYMENTS WORK?

A:  Due to the unpredictable timing of childbirth, all prices include a holding fee to ensure Brandy will be on call 1 week before & 1 week after your due date.

FOR ALL BIRTHS:  a 30% retainer is due immediately to book your delivery date. This 30% deposit also serves as a cancellation fee.

​

The remaining balance is due upon completion & delivery of footage to client.

Delivery Day Films accepts various forms of payment: Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Mastercard, Visa

***a 3% transaction fee will be added to all credit card & debit card purchases***

Q:  DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

A:  FOR ALL BIRTHS:  a 30% retainer fee is due immediately to book your delivery date + on call 1 week prior + on call 1 week after. This 30% deposit also serves as a cancellation fee.

Q:  WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

A:  FOR ALL BIRTHS:  client forfeits their 30% retainer paid to book the service if client cancels service within 2 months of delivery date.

ONLINE PREGNANCY INTERVIEWS are paid in full at time of booking. You may reschedule an online video interview with 24 hours notice.
